Malcolm entered the construction industry in the mid-1990s, spending four pre-university years with Resene Paints. Post graduating with a BBS in property and construction, Malcolm spent 12 years as a co-director of a Wellington-based architectural practice, followed by seven years as CE at New Zealand Institute of Building. Malcolm has been the CE at NZCB since May 2022, while also holding a range of industry leadership and government advisory roles.
